Switching seasons

I’ve been thoroughly spoilt by New England’s beautiful late summer weather and the abundance of fruit in the farmer’s markets - the luscious peaches, plump blueberries and scrumptious strawberries - just to name a few. So it was a bit of a shock to come back home and realise that I’m going to have to rethink my fruit intake and literally shift seasons. Initially, I was a bit sad to leave the summer fruits behind, but then I remembered just how delicious autumn produce can be - the late raspberries, apples, damsons (below) and plums are all in their prime right now.
