Harvest time

The days are feeling decidedly autumnal the past week, and my thoughts have turned to gathering in the last of the tomatoes, chillies and artichokes and storing some of the more tender herbs for winter. It’s been a bit ‘dreich’ lately, as they say in these parts, a word which I think fits the damp, drizzly weather perfectly.
